I was raised by the ocean of beautiful West Cork in Ireland where I was captivated by the sound of Irish music and ancient melodies from a young age. I remember hearing the harp for the first time in school and being enchanted by its ethereal sounds.

Unfortunately it seemed that harps were too expensive and learning was out of my reach. I prayed to God and asked Him if one day I could have a harp. Two weeks later a lady turned up to my house and gave me my first harp! Fast forward 15 years I have completed a First Class BA in Music, a Masters in Music Therapy and have performed/taught harp all over the world.

I remember so often hearing people say “I’ve always wanted to learn harp as it’s so beautiful but it seems way to complicated and expensive…” So I began to think how I can help people access the beauty and wisdom of this ancient instrument for an affordable price and offer teaching online globally.

Doors seemed to fly open as I met a harp maker in Ireland who got behind this vision, Wisdom Harps has is now in production of our second batch of Wisdom harps and have a community of 20 online harpers and growing!
